Terms and Conditions

  • Free initial consultation to evaluate your fitness and medical history.
  • Payments to be made in advance.
  • Sessions normally last around 45 minutes. (Shorter session are also availiable)
  • Normal availability for personal training sessions: 11am – 8pm Mondays to Fridays.
  • Sessions booked outside these times and weekends / bank holidays will incur a surcharge.
  • Personal training sessions normally take place at the JC:PT fitness studio (209/2 Main Street, Gibraltar), but can also be arranged at your home, swimming pool, sports-halls and outdoors. However, please note that a surcharge needs to be added to these sessions outside the studio (depending on the location) due to extra travelling time and the carrying of equipment.
  • As a mark of mutual respect and professionalism, we would be grateful that if an appointment needs to be cancelled, to please give as much notice as possible. This would make it possible to offer that specific session to another client. Appointments not kept and not previously re-scheduled will be charged at full rate. Last minute cancellations will incur a 50% charge.
  • On the other hand, if your personal trainer does not keep his appointment with you or does not re-schedule your session outside 24 hours of the prearranged session, you will be entitled to an additional two free personal training sessions.
  • We also encourage you to attend your sessions on time:
    • If a client arrives early they may find that their Personal Trainer and studio are not yet available for their session.
    • We may be arriving from the swimming pool,
    • We may be returning emails and phone calls,
    • We may be having a snack between sessions,
    • We may be training ourselves (We believe in practising what we preach),
    • We obviously do not want to keep any client waiting outside before their session or rush anyone's session whilst the next client is outside,
    • We may be training another client.
  • On the other hand if a client arrives late for their session it may be necessary to have to shorten their session.
  • We try to avoid shortening any sessions, by trying as much as possible to avoid overlapping one session to the next. However this is not always possible due to clients and trainers availability.
